JUDGE KATIE CASCH

My name is Katie Casch and I am a Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge. My top priority is keeping our community safe.

I preside over both criminal and civil dockets, handling the most serious felony cases, including aggravated murders, felonious assaults, robberies, rapes and complex civil litigation. I am also certified by the Supreme Court of Ohio as a Specialty Docket Judge, presiding over a felony Mental Health Court for individuals struggling with mental illness, and I serve as a New Lawyer Mentor.

I spent over ten years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Hamilton County, prosecuting thousands of cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies, including crimes against children and animals. For this work, I received the PLEDGE award from the Federal Bar Association for exceptional legal talent and leadership. I am also proud to be endorsed by local police, fire, and labor organizations.

I am a longtime resident of the Cincinnati area. I received both my bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Cincinnati. My husband and I are raising our family in Hamilton County. I care about our community and I will continue to prioritize public safety. Vote for me for a safer county.
